1. Who is responsible

2. Your rights
Access — get a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Rectification — correct inaccurate data. You can edit your name, email and preferences yourself in Account settings.
Erasure — delete your data. You can delete your account and all your files yourself in Account settings → Danger zone. We keep payment records only as long as tax law requires.
Portability — download your files from your drive at any time, and ask us for your account data in a machine-readable format.
Restriction and objection — ask us to limit or stop certain processing, including processing based on our legitimate interests.
Withdraw consent — for analytics cookies or checkout reminders, at any time, without affecting earlier processing. Every reminder email has an unsubscribe link.
Complaint — you can complain to your local data protection authority, or in Hong Kong to the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data.
We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects.
3. How to make a request
Email [email protected] from the email address of your account and tell us what you need. We may ask you to confirm your identity. We respond within one month (extendable by two months for complex requests, in which case we will tell you why). Requests are free unless they are manifestly unfounded or excessive.
4. Where your data is processed
Your files and account data are stored in Germany (Contabo GmbH). Some service providers, such as Stripe, Google, Cloudflare and Microsoft, may process data in the United States. These transfers are protected by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The full list of providers is in our Privacy Policy.
5. Privacy rights and refunds are separate
Exercising a privacy right, such as deleting your account, does not by itself refund a payment. For refunds, see our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
