Terms of Service

Last updated: October 29, 2026

1. Agreement and operator

OriginDrive is a cloud file-storage and file-sharing service operated by Loom Marketing Limited ("OriginDrive", "we", "us"), registered at C03, 9/F, Kato Factory Building, 2 Cheung Yue Street, Lai Chi Kok, Kowloon, Hong Kong. Contact: [email protected]. These Terms govern your use of origindrive.app and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or buying a plan, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, Refund & Cancellation Policyand Acceptable Use Policy. Nothing in these Terms removes consumer rights that cannot be excluded by law.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 16 years old to use OriginDrive. You must give accurate account information, confirm your email address, keep your password safe and tell us promptly about any unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity in your account. If you use OriginDrive for an organization, you confirm you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf.

3. Plans and storage

Every account includes a small free storage allowance. Paid plans (Monthly, Yearly and Lifetime) add the storage and features shown on the pricing page and at checkout. Prices are shown in US dollars before you pay. When you reach your storage limit, you cannot upload more files until you free up space or upgrade.

A Lifetime plan is a one-time payment for the original account holder, valid for that person's lifetime or 99 years from purchase, whichever comes first. It is personal and cannot be transferred. It is not ended because of inactivity. "Lifetime" does not mean unlimited storage; the storage and features shown at purchase apply.

4. Payments and renewals

Payments are processed by Stripe. The full price of the selected period (or the one-time Lifetime price) is charged when you order, and your plan is activated as soon as the payment is confirmed.

Monthly and Yearly plans renew automatically at the end of each period, at the price and interval shown at checkout, and are charged to your saved payment method until you cancel. We will notify you in advance of any price change for future renewals. Lifetime plans never renew.

If a renewal payment fails, Stripe retries it and we ask you to update your payment method. If payment is not received, your paid plan ends and your account returns to the free allowance.

5. Changing plans

You can upgrade or downgrade from Account settings → Billing. The change takes effect immediately: you are charged (or credited) the prorated difference for the rest of the current period, and the new price applies from the next renewal.

6. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel a Monthly or Yearly plan at any time in Account settings → Billing, or by emailing us. Within 14 days of a payment, cancelling refunds that payment in full and ends the plan immediately. After 14 days, cancelling stops the next renewal and your plan stays active until the end of the paid period. Lifetime refunds are available by email within 14 days of payment. Full details, including what happens to your files after a refund, are in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

7. Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time in Account settings. This immediately cancels any subscription, so you are not charged again, and permanently deletes your files and account data. It does not refund past payments; to get a refund within the 14-day window, cancel your plan first. We keep payment records as required by law.

8. Your files

You keep ownership of everything you upload ("Your Content"). You give us a limited permission to store, copy, process and transmit Your Content only to operate the Service for you, for example to create previews or deliver shared files. You confirm you have the rights to upload and share Your Content. You control who you share with; anyone with a public link can access what it points to.

9. Storage infrastructure

Files are stored on servers operated by Contabo GmbH in Germany, and the website is delivered through Cloudflare. We may move storage to another provider with equivalent security; we will update our Privacy Policy when we do. You should keep your own copies of important files.

10. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service secure and available but cannot guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may carry out maintenance and change features. If we ever plan to close the Service, we will give at least 60 days' notice so you can download your files, and refund Lifetime plans as required by applicable law.

11. Acceptable use and enforcement

You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. We may remove illegal content, disable shared links or suspend accounts that break these Terms or the law. Where practical and lawful, we will explain why and allow you to appeal. To report content, see Content & Copyright Reporting.

12. Liability

To the extent allowed by law, the Service is provided "as is", and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control or by unauthorized use of your account due to your failure to protect your credentials. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong, without affecting mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live. Please contact us first at [email protected] so we can try to resolve any issue. You may also bring a claim before the courts of your country of residence where the law allows.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version with an updated date and email you about material changes at least 14 days before they apply.
